On a near perfect day when the rest of the Nation was glued to Mr Comey's testimony, eight of us ran a full Rappahannock [min 600 cfs] - under Tim Tilson's lead we were: Miki, Glen, BobM, Jim, JonH, Wes, & Alf. 70 degrees, sunshine, osprey, eagles, great blues, Canadas, and a few profiling turtles - nothing was lacking. Occasionally we found ourselves discussing the Trump, but backed off to focus on our surroundings. Lunchtime at the ex-Embrey Dam, a visit to the plaque of Sen John Warner parting the waters, and then we were ready for Target Rock, which all kayaks ran without becoming a hood adornment. Traffic on I-95, both thither and back flowed smoothly.
