Thirteen paddlers showed up for the first Thursday paddle on Little Falls, which was running at 2.95'. We had 11 kayakers and two canoeists on a steamy but very pleasant day on the water. Several of us took the time to run the Beaver Slide on the way down. Everyone ran LF proper on the MD side without mishap, arriving at the main event around dead-low tide. Twelve of us continued to Fletchers, while one took the trek back to Lock 5. As a side note, the canal still does not have enough water to paddle in, so its either walking it back to Lock 5 or continuing down to Fletchers.
