John Snitzer, Chris Oberlin, Jim Keihn, Zofia Kosim and I paddled the Lower Yough on July 27. Chris, Jim and I paddled it on July 28. The idea behind this trip was to get the Thursday paddlers out for 2 days and to have less driving. We ran at a level of 3.25 Ft on Thursday. Chris and I spent the night at the Park campground, where I had never camped in many visits to the Yough. Friday’spaddle was uneventful at a level of 3.11 Ft. We had lunch opposite Dimple Rapid, which is a good place to photograph boaters on the river. I plan to do two-day plus paddling trips with the ThursdayGroup in 2018.
