Gus, Jackie, and Lisa joined three of Lisa's friends, Ann and Steve from Cleveland and Barry Adams from Pittsburgh for a run on the Lower Yough at 2.0 ft. After rain all morning we had mostly sun all afternoon on a beautiful day. Steve paddled OC-1 and everybody else was in kayaks. Barry is the son of one of the founders of the BRV. Everyone had good runs with no problems. Ann and Barry played a lot in waves and holes. Gus camped at Tall Oaks, which seemed like a good place for groups and had Saturday dinner and a very nice coffee and sandwich place called Bittersweet on the road to Ohiopyle off of 40 closest to Uniontown. He had breakfast and dinner on Sunday at Braddocks Restaurant on 40 which has good food at reasonable prices.
