Seven of us (Alf C, Gary & Ginny Q, Pam W, Paul M {PFD}, Tim T & Wayne McD) took advantage of a heavy overnight rain that brought the Goose up to 650 cfs, an excellent level. Most of us had not been on the Goose for over a year due to the COVID shuttle restrictions in the spring and low water in the summer; it was great to be back on it. One intrepid paddler endeavored to boof the big pour-over rock at the bottom of Gulf Course with a sideways(!) approach with predictable results. No carnage to report other than that. At this level, the Class II rapid just before the takeout was a delightful bouncy ride.
