We made the most of our mile and a half of river, taking about 3 hours to surf our way down from the 340 bridge over the Shenadoah to Potoma Wayside. Congrats to Tyler, for whom it was the first time on the Staircase or B2B. It was a great level for surfing. Whitehorse was very choppy, but there were no untoward incidents. Personally, I think the takeout hill at the Wayside is 10 times steeper than it used to be, but I have no scientific data to support that assertion.
