This wonderful boat is still for sale. I would keep it, but I have too many canoes and though I hate to part with it, I do need to let go of it. It really is a good boat and being tandem, it's a very fast canoe with lots of cargo space - great for BWCA trips.
17 1/2 feet long, all new woodwork and Nylon woven seats. Front seat is adjustable on fore and aft slides for better trim and adjustable leg room. Gunwales made of Ash. Deck is Walnut inserted between inwales. High quality craftsmanship. Also fore and aft carrying handles and grab loops at both ends. Hull is used but in good condition. wt: 72 lbs. Canoe is stored inside on ceiling.
Canoe was originally made by Lincoln Canoe and Kayak in Maine. Their current 5.3 hull (17.5 feet) runs between: $3,145.00 – $4,095.00 new. (The higher price is with Ash gunwales)
