Once again, due to COVID-19, we will have a virtual holiday party via Zoom.<br /><br />The highlight of this evening’s event will be a talk and slide show by river runner, author, photographer, and conservationist Tim Palmer, based on his stunning book, America&#39;s Great River Journeys. It highlights many of the finest river trips in America.<br /> <br />Tim has been running rivers and working for river conservation for five decades. He was the recipient of American Rivers&#39; Lifetime Achievement Award in 1988 and many subsequent honors. Paddler magazine named Tim one of the top ten river conservationists of our time and one of the &quot;100 great paddlers of the last century.&quot; He is the author of 30 books including Field Guide to Rivers of the Rocky Mountains and Rivers of America.
