Bloomington Release - Sun, 22 May
John Enagonio and Mike Keefe are coordinating a Sunday trip on North Branch Potomac / Bloomington for the final spring dam release. We will all meet at 10:30 a.m. at the takeout off Rt. 135 at the water treatment plant parking area, then set shuttle to the put-in. at the bottom of Race St in Bloomington, MD<br /><br />The Bloomington release is a 6.6 mile run with near continuous Class II+/ III- whitewater. Water temperature is chilly, about 50 degrees. There are changing areas and rustic toilets at the put-in and take-out.<br /><br />Some may use the intermediate meeting place at Sharpsburg Pike Park and Ride, immediately to the south of I-70 exit 29, Hagerstown MD.
