Thurs Paddle - KELLYS FORD - 4.2 ft (752 cfs)
Tim Tilson will coordinate a trip on the Rappahannock from Remington to Kelly’s Ford. This is a 4.5 mile trip with two Class II-III rapids. The level is predicted to be around 4.2. Air temps are predicted to be in the mid to upper 60s. There is a 24% chance of rain in the morning dropping to 11% in the afternoon. Bring a lunch. Cell Phone Thursday morning after 0900 am is 703-864-0802. <br /><br />Meet at 1030 at the McDonalds 10068 James Madison Highway (Rte 29) Warrenton VA 20168. Note the restaurant is actually in Opal right on US 29/15 southbound. It is a few miles north of Remington.<br /><br />Please let Tim know if you plan to attend and provide an email and phone number. If more rain arrives than is predicted and pushes the gauge above 5’ Thursday morning, the trip will be cancelled. If this happens Tim will email attendees NLT 0730 Thursday morning or call NLT 0800.<br /><br />CCA Covid-19 Guidance<br /><br />Fully vaccinated people can congregate in small groups, share shuttle rides and carpooling together, etc., consistent with CDC Guidelines. <br /><br />For groups that include un-vaccinated people, masks should continue to be worn, consistent with CDC Guidelines. <br /><br />Auto shuttles involving un-vaccinated people<br />• Wear a mask covering mouth and nose while in shuttle vehicles<br />• Open windows to allow for air circulation<br />• Avoid carpooling to distant sites<br />All participants should bring a personal mask to be worn as needed.<br /><br />Do not attend if you think that you may have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the past two weeks, or if you have any of the signs and symptoms of COVID-19, including but not limited
