Sunday Paddle - Sideling Hill Creek

About this event

After considerable gauge surfing I've selected Sideling Hill Creek for Sunday's trip. This is a beautiful Class II- paddle. It's currenly at 537 cfs (an excellent level) and rising slowly so should be in the sweet spot tomorow afternoon. We will meet at 11:00 at the put-in - the old Route 40 bridge (N39 42.01, W78 19.05). Bring a lunch. As always, contact the trip coordinator in advance if you plan to join this trip - Wayne McDaniel (macinmd1@gmail.com, 443 542 8779).

The weather forecast is for a high in the upper 60s and sunny.

PFDs are required for all. Helmets are required for kayakers using spray skirts and highly recommended for all others. Airbags are strongly encouraged for boats without other means of flotation. If you need safety equipment, please advise the trip coordinator.
