We had 8 on this Sunday paddle - Wayne McD., Toni B., Barb R., Gordy L., Gus A., Shae M., Hendrik vO. and Ginny Q. LF gauge was 2.89 ft., 2790 cfs and the run was starting to show a few more rocks, but no problems with strainers or debris pileups. We had pretty nice weather, partly sunny, high 80s, and just the slightest breeze. Gary and Tim, on injured reserve, were there to help with boats and send us off. We danced down the canal with John S. and Alf who were shepherding a group of family friends. A quick, enjoyable day with a very nice paddle up the C&O canal that was nicely watered. Hendrik’s turtle count was 34.
