John Noel, Deputy Superintendent of the C&O Canal Park, spoke on Weds, 12 Oct, to 27 interested folks at the West Montgomery County Citizens Assn about what the Canal authority was doing along the Lower Canal (that from Georgetown up past Riley's Lock, all the way to the Monocacy River). His titles were: Completed and Ongoing Work, and Imminent Construction. The 20-minute talk with 14 slides was followed by a Q and A period. In the just-posted Zoom link you will see our own Barbara Brown, in her new role as president of the WMCCA. Mr. Noel will talk to the paddling community, and others, about the Canal's Two-Year Rehab Plan in November.
