We had 13 paddlers on the Staircase for our inaugural 2025 Thursday paddle. The level was 3.3' and the surfing was excellent. The air temps barely nudged 50 degrees, so it was a bit chilly particularly when we reached the Potomac and went downstream into a headwind. Our flotilla consisted of three canoes, one SUP, one pack raft, and 8 kayaks. Paddlers were Gary, Ginny, Larry, Gary, Ken, Allison, Hildy, Ed, Randy, Ned, Chad, Chris, and yours truly.
