13 paddlers - Devin R(PFD), Diane H (PFD), Ernie K, Gary & Ginny Q, Hendrik vO, John S, Lisa L, Marilyn J, Rick K (PFD), Tim T, Tony A & Wayne McD – enjoyed a beautiful day on Upper Antietam Creek. The recent rains had pushed the creek up to an ideal level – 4.29’ (1040 cfs). Remarkably, Wagaman Rd rapid was completely clear of wood – the first time that’s been true in years. The main three rapids were all churning but we passed through them without carnage. Wildlife sightings included a bald eagle, a great blue heron and several mallard ducks.
