This is the first of what we hope will be many after-Work paddles down the Potomac from Anglers Inn to Lock 10. Meet at Lock 10 by 6:00 to consolidate boats, leave shuttle cars, and drive up to Anglers. We take a route through three named rapids: Offutts, Yellow Falls, and Stubblefield Falls. Max: Class II+. If you haven't been on this stretch, you have a treat in store.

With sunset at 8:27, we'll be off the river with plenty of light. And at 3.1 ft predicted at Little Falls - we have a low level - so a little more paddling time.

You may simply drop in, but knowing who's coming makes planning the shuttle easier. And I'm happy to answer questions from newcomers to town about the route.
