The Blue Ridge Voyageurs (BRV) will be showing movies from the National Paddling Film Fest (NPFF) archives on Wednesday, February 28 (6:45 PM SHARP) at the Clara Barton Rec Center in Cabin John, MD just off the 495 Beltway. FREE
The movie "Sheri" features the woman who developed the pack raft—the whitewater craft which Court Ogilvie, the speaker last month, used in Alaska.
The Red Creek Sessions shows how the geology and the bogs of the area create steep drops with ample flow for extreme creeking. Other area watersheds are discussed. Bring a map! See drops such as Douglas Falls be run.
