If you are a member, please log in to access additional, potentially lower registration fee options.
About this event
On Wednesday evening we will paddle the Anglers to Lock 10 run again, which is a 4-mile-long run with three Class II rapids, perfect for an after-work paddle.
We’ll meet in the Lock 10 parking at 5:30PM where we can work out the shuttles up to Old Anglers Inn. We’ll try to launch from the Old Angler’s beach at about 6:00PM.
If the water level falls below 2.7 feet, our back up plan will be to meet at the Old Anglers Inn put in at 5:30PM and go play in the chutes.
PFDs are required for all. Helmets are required for kayakers using spray skirts and highly recommended for all others. Airbags are strongly encouraged for boats without other means of flotation. If you need safety equipment, please advise the trip coordinator in advance. And finally, be prepared for the predicted temperature for that time of day and bring plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated.
If you are interested in joining us, please contact Dean Hawes at dean@haweslink.net, especially if this is your first time on this run. Last minute paddlers are welcome as well, but please arrive at the meeting spot by 5:30 PM. I will send out a status email around lunch time on Wednesday to those who notify me they are going.
