Heart Attack Claims Longtime Member Gus Anderson

Gus Anderson—longtime CCA member, club chair for three years in the '90s, and leader of countless paddling trips—died May 21. He had a cardiac arrest a week earlier and rallied for a few days but then succumbed. He had weathered illnesses over many years with determination not to allow them to keep him off the river.
