Race Results: Swiftly Downriver for the 69th Time

Sixty-six paddlers of many ages and in boats of many kinds raced down the Potomac May 11 for 7 1/2 miles, under clear skies at a level of 4 feet on the Little Falls gage. And the winners were:

First-place finisher Garet Strouse had a time of 0:51:08. The noteworthy second-place finisher was Sam Rhodes, who in a long kayak with a time of 0:52:48 came in ahead of the remaining wildwater paddlers.
