CCA Programs: Ogilvie Adventures in June, AW in September

An evening with Court Ogilvie, June 12. CCA searches the world for interesting speakers, but sometimes all we really need to do is look in our own backyard. For years, Arlington resident Court Ogilvie has stretched his river horizons to the far corners of our continent, and he has prepared to share a sampling of his far north adventures for us this evening. One thing that makes Court stand out is his diverse toolkit. He paddles canoes, rows rafts, and last but not least, loves to pack raft. What's a pack raft? Tune in, and I am sure he will fill you in (and maybe convert you). A fun evening for sure.

An evening with American Whitewater, Sept. 11. Originally called American Whitewater Affiliation, this national organization (of which CCA has long been an affiliate) celebrates its 70th anniversary this year. Distinguishing itself as a powerful and remarkably effective voice for river access and safety, and a clearinghouse for river information, this evening we have an opportunity to learn the details. Our guest speaker will be Kevin Colburn, its National Stewardship Director. Do come listen and ask questions.

As usual, both of these are virtual shows, so register now, while slots are available, on the CCA website.

CCA programming, per standard procedure, will take a vacation in July and August.
