Recent Trips: (Kind of) Faraway Places

CCA paddling trips of late have had their share of the usual nearby offerings (e.g., Little Falls and the GW Canal), but don't forget that on occasion club paddlers get to avail themselves of other interesting opportunities. So also of late:

• Tom Hackman coordinated a weekend trip Nov. 3 to the Holtwood Play Park on the Susquehanna in Pennsylvania (which, truth be told, many club paddlers didn't even know existed).
• David (Cotton) Cottingham coordinated a Thursday trip Nov. 7 to Bodkin Creek and Bodkin Bay in Anne Arundel County, MD, on the Chesapeake Bay.

Meanwhile, rains peripheral to the main Hurricane Helene allowed Thursday trips Oct. 3 to Hopeville Canyon, WV, and Cedar Creek, VA, and a Sunday trip Oct. 6 to Kellys Ford section of the Rappahannock in Virginia.
