CCA Program Tues., April 8: Geology of Great Falls

This evening, the subject is geology. CCAers take their paddling to the ends of the Earth, but in the end, our mother river is the Potomac. The club started on it as did most of our paddling careers, and we marvel at how lucky we are to have it in our backyard. So wouldn’t you like to know more about its origins? We seek to answer that by presenting distinguished geologist Joe Marx, who will give a talk titled "How and When Did Great Falls Form." We are so lucky to catch a moment from Joe's busy schedule, so don't miss this informative evening.
