Trips Update: Midsummer and Going Strong

Here’s a midsummer report from the trips co-chairs on CCA trips so far this year. We've had 143 individual paddlers participate in our various categories of trips:

When asked who the biggest “repeat offender” participants were, we discovered that the lead is held by none other than trips co-chair Ginny Quam, at 22 trips. Shamelessly in second place with 19 trips is the other trips co-chair, Gary Quam. Rounding out the top five are Mark Brenneman (16), Ken (Pinky) Cohen (paddler of the hot pink River Elf kayak) (15), and Wayne McDaniel, Tim Tilson, and Gary Steinberg tied with 14.

Dean Hawes, who rescued Wednesday evening trips from oblivion, leads in trips coordinated with 10. Tim Tilson has coordinated 9 trips while Thursday paddle head honcho Mark Brenneman comes in next with 8 trips coordinated, and Wayne McDaniel, CEO of Sunday trips, rounds out the top coordinators with 5.
