Thursday Paddle - Needles

Bob Maxey will lead a Class 2/3 trip on the Needles section of the Potomac. After passing the Rt. 340 bridge over the Potomac, we will paddle through the heron rookery and take out at the parking lot adjacent to the Appalachian Trail where it starts to ascend South Mountain. Those interested may want to have dinner afterwards at the Bavarian Inn German restaurant in Shepherdstown. Meet at 10:30 AM at the old Cindy Dee’s.
