Thursday Paddle -Anglers & Upstream or Little Falls

Thursday paddlers are facing extreme-low-flow conditions on local rivers. Based on the AHPS prediction of ~2.4’ at LF Thursday morning, Lisa Laden will coordinate a paddle from the Anglers put-in up Mather Gorge, with an easy lift-over in the Center Chute to get up Difficult Run. We’ll stop for some rolling practice at the MD Chute beach and see how far we can go. Water temperatures are 80-84°. If tomorrow at 8 AM there’s more water than predicted, safely above 2.51’ and stable, we’ll switch to Little Falls with a carry at the head of the Feeder Canal to get above the rubble dam and a slide-bounce down the dam into the river. Meeting time: 10:30 AM ready to paddle at Anglers put-in or on the Feeder Canal. Lisa will send out an email to people who contacted her confirming LF or Mather Gorge at 8 AM.
