Rolling on the River - Potomac Riverkeeper Network - POSTPONED

This event (which apparently does not involve doing the Eskimo roll) has been postponed until Oct 1) See the link at the bottom.

From the Potomac Riverkeeper Network

We are inviting you and your members to join us on September 24, World Rivers Day, at 2 PM for Rolling on the River, for a free, 60-minute outdoor pop concert on the floating stage at the DC Wharf.

Please join us in your canoes, kayaks, and small craft to gather around the stage where we will recreate the historic concerts on the Potomac where for almost 30 years audiences on land and water joined together around a floating stage to enjoy music on the river.

Together, we will recreate these iconic concerts on the Floating Stage at The Wharf to celebrate the importance of our Anacostia and Potomac Rivers.

Rolling on the River is presented by a collaboration of environmental, civic and cultural organizations to celebrate our Potomac and Anacostia Rivers and to bring attention to the critical role they play in our communities.

Please contact us to arrange for your appearance on land or water for ROLLING ON THE RIVER!
